Today started off with glorious sunshine that lasted all day. Finally, we are experiencing some heat now that it's June. There's something about sunshine and warmth that makes me feel positive and joyful. It even helps make housework go by faster.
As I sit down to write, I thought to myself that I really don't have anything to write about. I don't want to complain about my time at the makeup counter (I will not name stores, but it starts with S) with not-so-considerate makeup girl who didn't really take the time to find out what I needed, or the woman in the kid's shoe shop who forced I's foot into a too small shoe and said it was a good fit. Nope, I won't write about that, instead I will focus on the positives. I am grateful for a loving husband and three beautiful children, a dishwasher full of dishes that are being washed right now, a comfy bed for me to curl up in, and that S has made it to Toronto safely. Just to name a few things.
My goals for this week: find a place to stay on holiday, post photos on the blog, eat more raw fruits and vegetables, drink more water, get out and enjoy the sun. Hmm...what a mix of things. Looks like it could turn out to be a "healthy" week. Let's hope!
